Faraj’s portrait is drawn by the ridiculously amazing Maasyme.

Hi! I don’t even pretend to have a formal-sounding blurb yet, blurbs are so hard. But here’s the general vibes:
- “Do I have to actually get you thrown in a dungeon to get you a weekend off, your Highness? …yes? Well, all right then!”
- Except this dungeon was designed by a catfolk who believes in “do unto humans as they’d do unto you.”
- So it’s more of a cat cafe than a dungeon, really. Scratching posts, well-loved pillows, a water fountain and a fish pond, a sunbeam for basking, so many toys, and oh yes the collar. (So that anyone who finds the stray knows who to return him to, obviously. His Highness gets into so much trouble, he clearly needs a more conscientious and sensible keeper.)
- Honestly Faraj and Ashar would love their extended stay in the cat cafe dungeon, with no fates of the world on his Highness’ shoulders and no political quagmires to wade through. It’s just that they didn’t really get to, um, warn anybody.
- So who’s going to break down the walls to “rescue” them first? Irfan? Najra? Grandmother of the Den of Iniquity? Hira and her disreputable cousins?
- Brace for impact. And also for yowling. So much yowling.
I hope to have Katayef and Kittens available in 2026, but… (gestures incoherently at all the everything)
